‍Stratford, St. Marys, North Perth, West Perth, Perth East and Perth South are a proud sponsor of Tackling Sports Culture Together, a free community learning event hosted by the Stop Violence Against Women Coordinating Committee of Perth County as part of Sexual Violence Prevention Month.

Join us on Tuesday, May 5, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Burnside Agriplex Community Hall, 357 McCarthy Road, Stratford.

Featuring award-winning journalist and TSN senior sports correspondent Rick Westhead, this event will explore how we can build respectful, safe and accountable sports culture for players, parents, coaches and communities. The evening will also include a panel discussion, presentation and audience Q&A.

This event supports the Gender-Based Violence priority area identified in the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, helping to raise awareness, strengthen prevention efforts and promote safer communities for everyone.

‍Community organizations will also be on site to provide information and support.
